On February 10th, we participated in Operation Homeless Veterans. The event was sponsored by the Sons of American Legion 294 and all donations went to Milwaukee Homeless Veteran Initiative and Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. The event raised over $74,000. Wow!
It was incredible experience! We slept outside in the parking lot of the Hartland legion to help raise awareness for homeless veterans. The community support was impressive. We are looking forward to doing it again next year.
Wisconsin Women 4 Our Troops raised money for this event and matched the contributions we received. We presented the Sons with a check for $650. Thank you for your support !!
